As a photographer, I believe that one of the greatest compliments I can receive is the honour of being chosen to photograph a couple's big day. Being asked to document such a unique occasion in the lives of two people deserves the greatest care, attention and dedication.
For me, it's not just about knowing how to use a camera, it's about making a connection. It's about instilling confidence and trust even before I take a single photograph.
Many of my great shots have come from a spur of the moment vision and could not have been achieved without the complete trust of the people I am photographing - whether it be standing on the top of a mountain in the chilly wind, in the driving rain under a small umbrella, or even walking in the ocean whilst wearing a dress or suit.
My inspiration comes from the people I photograph and the relationship we develop. It comes from the energy that flows between people in love ... a touch ... a smile ... a kiss.
It's all about connections. It's all about real people and real moments. It's all about you.
